Hydro-Excavation Services

Evergreen AES is pleased to announce the addition of new soil remediation services using Hydro-Excavation techniques. With the addition of the new 2017 Guzzcavator truck to our already advanced fleet of environmental and remediation service equipment we now offer Hydro-Excavation services. The new truck is able to provide multi-functional services depending on our clients’ specific environment and remediation needs, operating as a vacuum truck, boom and pressure washer, as well as hydro-excavation machine.
What is Hydro-Excavation?
Hydro-Excavation is a method of soil remediation and excavation using water and vacuum. By applying pressurized water into the soil, the ground materials are broken up and converted into a slurry. A vacuum method can then be used to collect and transfer soil and materials from the excavation area into the disposal tank. This advanced method of hydro-excavation is designed to be non-destructive to the land and more precise when excavating soil.
Advantages of Hydro Excavation to Traditional Methods
Hydro-Excavation methods hold many advantages over standard soil excavation. In scenarios where underground utilities are identified, the hydro-excavation method has proven to be extremely beneficial, less damaging, and easier to control. Also, during frozen ground conditions in the winter months, hydro-excavation with heated water is a vastly superior method of soil excavation when compared to traditional mechanical means.
